Day 1
Day 1 is for anyone involved in the software development process who is interested in improving the product development lifecycle – product owners, testers and QA, business analysts, software developers and scrum developers… that’s everyone! No coding experience is required.
Describe and understand the principles of BDD, including the impact of requirements problems
Use Gherkin syntax to write examples, avoiding common anti-patterns
Discover and clarify requirements with collaboration techniques that encourage questions and review all personas and roles affected
Day 2
Day 2 is a bit more technical so we’d advise this is mainly for developers and testers. A basic knowledge of writing Java code would be perfect, but previous knowledge of any testing framework isn’t required.

Who are these BDD experts anyway?
Our BDD training program has been developed by Alan Parkinson and Mark Winteringham, drawing from their vast experience implementing BDD in organizations of all sizes and delivering BDD training for over 6 years. Both Alan and Mark regularly lead BDD training and coaching for our clients.
Alan Parkinson is founder and CEO of Hindsight, and a regular speaker at conferences around the world. He has worked as a developer tester and agile coach, and over the years has contributed to BDD-related open source projects such as the early version of Cucumber-JVM, and also to STEM strategy and the computer science curriculum in further and higher education.
Mark Winteringham is Hindsight’s dedicated BDD trainer. Another seasoned speaker on the international conference circuit, he’s also an experienced tester and in 2017 Mark was voted joint 8th in Agile Testing Days list of most influential agile testing professionals.
The training was particularly helpful to understand what BDD actually is, and its use for driving out questions through conversations and collaboration.
